Sterling Middle Library, March Newsletter

Mrs. Hester (shown here) shared her Galapagos Island adventures with the 7th grade science classes during the last week of February.
The students really enjoyed the beautiful and exotic photographs of blue-footed boobies, sea lions, turtles, crabs and more. What was really cool is that she took some of the photos (hammerhead sharks & barracudas & sea turtles) underwater!
The students had a lot of questions about Darwin, volcanic activity, and the flora and fauna of the Ecuadorian island .  Mrs. Hester also helped the students locate library resources about the Galapagos.
 Library class  instruction:
March— Note taking and Source Citing
April— Poetry
